Evaluation

The evaluation portion cements the process as a
fully comprehensive and circular
marketing plan.

A solid marketing plan measures results and deals with surprises. In regard to Peer Support Circles, we should track progress with very clear metrics and have backup plans ready to meet our goals. Doing this process is checking how well the plan works and will help us shape future marketing acts.

Plain old metrics are going to help us know if our marketing goals were reached. Student feedback is going to be important. Surveys that I have done show how well people liked my first shot at marketing. We would have to take a look at how many new students sign up week to week and what is the rate of return on those same students. If we do this and compare past weeks to present, we will have a pretty clear idea on whether what we are doing is beneficial or not.

... is making sure our counselors and students are a ok everyday.

As I just said, tracking how many students come in is important to see if our marketing plan is working. What also goes along with that is checking some more tedious things. What I mean by this is checking changes in requested appointment times and what reason they list for wanting to show up. Maybe this isn’t a middle of the day meeting, maybe it is. We won’t know until we take an analytical look at the whole picture. For our online ads, we are going to look at how many visitors go to our website and how many click we get on the links.

Unexpected problems are 100% going to pop up during our marketing campaign, even with careful planning. Because of this, we have to have a backup plan. The most important part of this is setting aside some funds for emergency use. Your parents used to do this when they left for the weekend, leave some In Case of Emergency money. We are going to have to do this, make sure our counselors get paid as they are the backbone of the entire operation.

Monitoring our data (how many students show up, did they come back, did they bring a plus 1). What we could do is keep personal records (as best we can without breaking any privacy laws). This is going to give us easy to access to very useful information to be able to give our students the best possible help. Another big part of this backup plan is making sure our counselors and students are a ok everyday. There could be panic attacks, flashbacks from trauma or more, we would want to make sure everybody is fully trained on what to do in those situations.
